Sleep in Heavenly Peace is ready to deliver beds.

This new program builds beds for Delaware County kids who are sleeping on the floor. And organizer Keith Kramer says the program was just getting underway when it was interrupted by the pandemic.

Any kids between the ages of 3 and 17 can apply to receive a free bed, which also includes a new mattress and bedding – all funded by donations. Kramer says three church groups have even donated quilts. The twenty beds were built in about five hours by a team of eight volunteers, who made the beds in Kramer’s shop in Hopkinton.

Kramer says Sleep in Heavenly Peace should make a big impact on the local children who receive a bed.
