A Wisconsin man has been sentenced after he was charged with attempting to hire an underage boy for prostitution in an incident at a Woodbury fitness center in 2018.

According to court documents, Scott T. Klohn, 63, was sentenced to three years in Washington County Community Corrections. He already had served a year in Washington County Jail, but this sentencing will be three years starting Wednesday and end in 2022.

According to the complaint, officers responded to the fitness center where the male told them he had been sitting on a bicep curl machine when a man came up to him and asked if he would “poop in a cup” for $20. The man also allegedly said “we could go to the bathroom and get a sample.”

The male told authorities he recorded a portion of his conversation with the man on his phone because he was so shocked. He also said he had not been speaking to the man in any manner before the alleged interaction took place.

The complaint said the male went on to say he was posing in the mirror about 10 minutes later when he observed the same man staring at him from the locker area. The man was reportedly wearing only a towel, and took it off to expose himself. He then reportedly walked around the male naked and continued to stare.

The male said he became scared and left the locker room to talk with a friend. He then reportedly went into a family locker room to avoid the man, according to the complaint. But the man reportedly approached him again, this time clothed, to ask how old he was. When the male replied, stating he was 17, the man allegedly said he “thought he was more like 18 or 19 years old.”

The complaint alleges the man then put his hand out with several bills in it, including a $20 bill on top, and asked, “Can I touch you for money?”

According to the complaint, the male said “no” and left the gym immediately.

After observing the suspect in the video the male had taken on his phone, a description was provided to the manager of the facility.

Klohn matched the suspect description and the male reportedly selected him with 100 percent certainty in a double-blind photo lineup, according to the complaint.
