FARGO — Denver Broncos offensive lineman Connor McGovern is set to give national exposure to a Fargo-based organization this weekend.

The Fargo Shanley graduate has decided to feature TNT Kid’s Fitness on his cleats for Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans as part of the NFL’s “My Cleats My Cause” campaign.

McGovern unveiled the multi-colored cleats earlier this week, wearing a “701” North Dakota t-shirt. He explained why he decided to feature TNT Kid’s Fitness, including the Fargo Able Games.

“The Able Games is a CrossFit competition for the whole spectrum of the population, whether your an able-bodied person, you have a mental disability or a physical disability, everyone is going to be able to compete.” McGovern said. “That really hit home with me because obviously as a professional football player, I love to compete.”

A “TNT” logo, “Fargo Able Games” and “Fitness Gymnastics” are printed all over the cleats over a rainbow-like spectrum of colors.

“These are pretty sweet,” said McGovern, who starts at center for the Broncos. “I saw them and I was really impressed with them. I thought they were really cool. You’ve got a lot of stuff going on and I like them a lot.”

The first Fargo Able Games are scheduled for April at Scheels Arena.
