The 2011 pop-culture sensation “Go the F*ck to Sleep,” recorded to viral acclaim by Samuel L. Jackson, has spawned a sequel. Finally.
Author Adam Mansbach wrote “F*ck, Now There are Two of You,” that addresses the agony of parents getting two kids to sleep.
The book publishes Oct. 1 and is available for pre-order now. The book will sell for $15.95.
The book is not appropriate for bedtime reading for children. But the book’s description promises a “loving monologue” about a second child in Mansbach’s trademark “profane truth-telling,” which is why people laughed so hard they cried through Mansbach’s first book.
“Curb Your Enthusiasm’s” Larry David is set to narrate this book, reported Entertainment Weekly.
“As the second-born child, I’m sure my parents experienced feelings similar to those of the narrator in this book,” David said to the media organization. “Is it any wonder I’m so (messed) up?”
The book is illustrated by Owen Brozman.
The book is third in a series that began with “Go the F*ck to Sleep,” followed by “You Have to F*cking Eat,” which was released in November 2014.
