Teaneck fitness trainer charged with sexual assault of a minor, police say – NorthJersey.com

Police have arrested a Teaneck fitness trainer who police say sexually assaulted a child. 

On Monday, August Samek, 46, was charged with aggravated sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said in a statement. Samek was being held in the Bergen County Jail pending a hearing scheduled for Aug. 16.

On Sunday, Teaneck police were told that a child had been sexually assaulted by Samek in the township, the statement said. The next day, authorities arrested Samek.
